Air Pressure Testing’s usually done at the final phase of a commercial or residential development. 

We’ll need your property to be empty before we install a large fan into an external doorway, usually the front door. All external doors and windows are shut, while internal doors stay open.

Your property is then depressurised to around -50Pa. Using an anemometer, we measure internal and external pressures and the fan’s effort to maintain the pressure difference.

We take readings at varied pressures, and input these along with barometric pressure and temperature into our software to calculate air leakage.

The result is presented as cubic meters of air lost per hour for every square meter of the building’s envelope, which includes the floor, walls, and roof areas.
